Make a Better Google Search Results

Google is really smart on giving your search results. You might want to take this tip, which I recently read at Real Simple

How?

Use a hyphen before the words that you don't want to be included on your search results. Say you want to find information about Ravens -- the actual bird, not the football team from Baltimore. So enter "ravens -football -Baltimore." The result will omit those including football.

Smart eh? The hyphen acts as a minus sign so Google knows to exclude those phrases or words. The same logic applies with a plus sign, so if you're looking at super specific result like title of a song that is right on the tip of your tounge, use the plus sign in between search terms to narrow down your search result.
